This variety was purchased from a Rockhampton grower who originally purchased her plant from a well-known Rockhampton dragon fruit farm. Her fruit turned out to be slightly different than his. I am interested in comparing why this is??

The Tanby grower also pollinates her reds with purples only. This may give slightly different fruit.

Self-sterile

Sightly longer spines than other hybrids and thick lobes
The fruit is Magenta in colour with brilliant purple flesh.
A quick-growing dragon fruit
Likes a little more shade but will tolerate full sun
