Description:
Lilac is said to be one of the best-tasting dragon fruit varieties, originally bred by the former president of a rare fruit growers group in Queensland, Australia.
Although it was slow to establish, once its roots settled into the soil it began producing beautiful long branches with strong, healthy growth.
The plant’s skin and structure suggest it is well-equipped to handle a wide range of climates, making it a promising option for both collectors and home growers.
Our plant was grown from a small cutting only 1.5 years ago, and we are hopeful for its first fruit in the 2025 season.
