Variegated Cassava – Stunning & Edible!
Variegated cassava (also known as Manihot esculenta ‘Variegata’) is a striking ornamental edible with beautiful cream and green marbled foliage. Not only is it a standout in the garden, but it also produces edible roots (must be cooked properly to remove toxins) and young leaves that can be used like leafy greens in traditional dishes (also only after cooking).
A hardy tropical plant that thrives in warm climates, variegated cassava is perfect for:

Note: This variety is grown more for its ornamental beauty, but the roots and leaves are edible once prepared correctly.
