San Ignacio Dragon Fruit – Premium Red-Fleshed Variety (New 2022)

Discover San Ignacio, a standout red-fleshed dragon fruit variety introduced in late 2022. This impressive Hylocereus polyrhizus hybrid, developed from Nicaraguan cultivars, is known for its vibrant colour, high antioxidant levels, and exceptional flavour. Ideal for both home growers and commercial production, San Ignacio combines beauty, productivity, and reliable performance.

  • Self-pollinating dragon fruit – no second plant needed

  • Brilliant red flesh and red skin with striking green fins

  • From flower to harvest in just 48 days

  • Large oval fruit, averaging around 550g

  • Thick rind, perfect for transport and longer shelf life

  • White flower, typically budding in November

  • Our first fruits reached 385g and 435g after only 12 months of growth from a 20 cm cutting

 Care: 

Plant into an excellent quality potting mix to a depth of 2-3 cm 

Your dragon fruit will be marked with an arrow, plant ^ Arrow point up to the sky.

Regular Fertilizer 

Water once the soil has dried out.

Once rooted transfer onto a post.
