Description:
Hylocereus guatemalensis – also known as Thomson Guatemalan.
This variety is a seedling selection developed by Paul Thomson, one of the pioneers of dragon fruit breeding.
Lacks some sun tolerance does better in a slightly shaded position 75% or dappled light. 
G2 Dragon fruit produces large, uniquely sweet fruit that makes it well worth growing. A true palate-pleaser, it’s a standout addition for both dragon fruit collectors and dragon fruit lovers alike.

Flower:White medium-sized flower,  approx. 43 Days from flower to harvest

Growth:Can produce skinner branches compared to other dragon fruit varieties. A easy plant to handle with subtle thorns tucked into the branch nodes. 


Skin color:  A dragon fruit with red skin and green fins 

Skin thickness: Skin thickness 4mm

Flesh color: Flesh that is almost neon in colour.  

Fruit size: Large fruit averaging 700g, our first year of fruit weighed 285g. As the plant matures the fruit size will increase

Lovely delicious fruit similar to a perfectly ripe strawberry.

Care: 

Plant into an excellent quality potting mix to a depth of 2-3 cm 

Your dragon fruit will be marked with an arrow, plant ^ Arrow point up to the sky.

Regular Fertilizer
