This fruit has high market potential due to its fantastic flavour .

It has white flesh and pinky red skin.

The fruit is quite round and looks more like a prickly pair cross dragon fruit The fins are quite small and tight to the fruit.

We were given this dragon fruit variety by a NSW dragon fruit enthusiast.

Thick King grows is similar to other setaceus species with olive green color and very small spins. It is a particularly attractive dragon fruit with the white thorns being set off by the deep green colour branches.

Flower buds are hairy and as buds continue to grow, the hairs are replaced with spins at the base of the flower.

The flower produces a beautiful floral scent
