Beginner’s Red Dragon Fruit – Selenicereus sp.

Description:
This is a fantastic beginner-friendly dragon fruit variety and was the first dragon fruit we grew on our farm. It has proven to be a reliable and productive plant, making it a great choice for gardeners who are new to growing dragon fruit.

The plant produces large fruit with red skin and red flesh, along with beautiful large white flowers that open at night. It is self-pollinating, meaning it can set fruit without needing another variety nearby.

Once established, this variety can produce multiple harvests each season, with 3–4 rounds of fruit from late autumn through to early spring in warm climates.

Care: 

Plant into an excellent quality potting mix to a depth of 2-3 cm 

Your dragon fruit will be marked with an arrow, plant ^ Arrow point up to the sky.

Regular Fertilizer 

Water once the soil has dried out.

Once rooted transfer onto a post.
