Yellow Dragon- Yellow Megalanthus- Selenicereus Megalanthus Colombian Dragon Fruit

Yellow Megalanthus Dragon Fruit – Selenicereus megalanthus

Description:
Yellow Megalanthus is a highly prized dragon fruit variety known for producing exceptionally sweet fruit with bright yellow skin and white flesh. Native to Northern South America, this variety has become popular with growers worldwide due to its outstanding flavour.

The plant produces large, fragrant white flowers and is self-pollinating, making it suitable for home gardens as well as small orchards. Compared to many red dragon fruit varieties, Yellow Megalanthus is generally a slower-growing plant, but it rewards patience with high-quality fruit.

Fruit typically develops 4–6 weeks after flowering, although ripening may take longer during cooler winter months. The fruit has thin lobes and a yellow skin covered with small spines, which can easily be brushed off before harvesting.
