Australian Dragon Fruit Growers Association

Who We Are and What We Do

The Australian Dragon Fruit Growers Association Inc. (ADFGA) began operating in 2021 as a collaborative group of producers and supply chain service providers who came together to support the development of the Australian dragon fruit industry.

The association was formally incorporated in 2021 under the Association Incorporation Act 1981 as a not-for-profit industry body. Its formation was supported by the AgriFutures Emerging Industries Program, recognising the growing importance and potential of dragon fruit production within Australia.

Today, the ADFGA represents the interests of the Australian dragon fruit industry, including both growers and supply chain service providers. The association works to support industry development and provides a collective voice for the sector when engaging with local, State, and Commonwealth government departments, as well as research and industry organisations.

Through collaboration, shared knowledge, and industry advocacy, the ADFGA aims to strengthen the Australian dragon fruit industry and support growers across the country.
