Vetch Seeds – 10 g | Cover Crop & Green Manure

Build healthier soil with vetch, a leafy legume ideal for cover cropping and green manure. Its trailing growth helps cover bare ground, suppress weeds and provide organic matter when cut back.

Garden benefits:

• Helps fix nitrogen when suitable root bacteria are present.

• Provides ground cover between crops.

• Adds organic matter when used as mulch or green manure.

• Produces flowers that can attract pollinators.

Growing: Sow in a sunny position in well-drained soil during the cooler months. Cover seeds with soil and keep moist while establishing. Cut back before seed pods mature to help prevent unwanted self-seeding.

Give vetch space to spread and keep it from climbing over young plants.
