Malay Gold Dwarf Coconut Palm – Cocos nucifera (Bare Rooted)

1 x Bare rooted sprouted coconut

Malay Gold Dwarf Coconut Palm – Cocos nucifera

Add a tropical touch to your garden with the beautiful Malay Gold Dwarf Coconut Palm. This striking coconut variety is known for its golden-yellow leaf stems and attractive golden fruit when mature.

Malay Gold Dwarf coconuts have a more compact growth habit than traditional tall coconut varieties and generally begin producing at a younger age under suitable conditions. However, “dwarf” is relative—a mature palm will still grow into a substantial tree and needs plenty of permanent space.

Ideal for warm tropical and subtropical gardens, coastal properties, food forests and tropical landscaping.

Growing your Malay Gold Dwarf Coconut

Choose a warm, sunny position with excellent drainage and enough room for the palm’s mature canopy. Water regularly while the plant establishes, but avoid leaving the roots in waterlogged soil.

Coconut palms perform best with consistent moisture, organic matter and regular feeding during the warmer months. Protect young plants from frost and cold winds.

Important information

The plant supplied may differ in size and appearance from the photographs due to seasonal growth and natural variation.

Coconut palms are grown from seed, so some variation between individual plants can occur. Fruit production, colouring and time to maturity will depend on genetics, climate, soil, nutrition and growing conditions.

Please check your local climate, available space and state biosecurity requirements before ordering.
