Isis Gold is a standout Australian-bred dragon fruit known for its impressive size, vibrant golden skin, and unforgettable flavour. When cross-pollinated, this variety can produce very large fruit — up to 1.5 kg, making it a favourite for collectors and serious home growers.

The fruit is thornless, easy to handle, and produced from a fast-growing plant with striking white flowers. Isis Gold is self-sterile and requires cross-pollination to set fruit. For best results and maximum fruit size, cross-pollinate with a commercial white, MPH, or Japan Pink variety.

This variety is also known by several names, including Bundaberg Gold and Aussie (Ozzie) Gold. Our original cuttings were sourced from two different growers, so we keep these lines on separate posts and sell them under the names they were originally purchased as. We have visited Prickly Patch, where this variety was developed; sadly, the land has since been sold and the original dragon fruit plants removed, making this variety increasingly special to preserve.
