Snake plants are hardy succulent plants known for their upright, architectural leaves and extremely low maintenance requirements.
They can grow up to 1 metre tall, with dwarf varieties staying around 20 cm high, making them perfect for both indoor spaces and small containers.
As a succulent, the most important thing for snake plants is free-draining soil, as they do not like to sit in wet conditions.
Snake plants are also known for their ability to help improve indoor air quality, absorbing toxins such as nitrogen oxides.
They are an excellent plant for beginners, as they require very little care and grow reliably.
Occasionally, mature plants will produce small, delicate white flowers, usually once the plant is a few years old.
Super easy to grow and a great indoor plant.
Care:
It can be kept outdoors in warm climates, or, if you live in a cooler part of the world, it can be an indoor plant.
It is very tolerant to low light levels but equally as happy in sunlight.
Frequent watering is not required.
