Aloe vera is a hardy, drought-tolerant succulent that looks great incorporated into most garden styles. Its clumping growth habit and uniquely shaped foliage create a strong point of interest in both indoor and outdoor spaces.
It also performs beautifully in a terracotta pot indoors, helping to brighten your décor while remaining low-maintenance.
When in flower, Aloe vera produces orange blooms that are frequently visited by small honeyeater birds.
Sunburn home remedy:
Simply pick a leaf and apply the fresh sap directly to the skin for soothing sunburn relief.
For an extra cooling effect, place harvested leaves in the fridge before use.
