This variety originates from a plant that Michael and I have long admired, gracefully overhanging the Noosa River.
Its resilience has always intrigued us—as it extends over a saltwater river, across from mangroves, it has likely endured periodic flooding with salt water over the years.
Despite these harsh conditions, it continues to thrive and grow with remarkable vigor.
We have seen it flower but not fruit, so we are interested in growing this plant as an experiment.
Collecting NoID dragon fruit can be beneficial for several reasons:
Genetic Diversity – NoID plants may have unique or desirable traits, such as different flavors, colors, or growth habits. Adding them to a collection can help discover new, resilient, or productive varieties.
