Description:
Hana is a new 2023 variety, producing its first flowers in 2025 with fruit harvested in June 2025.
Although technically self-fertile, our first flowers did not set fruit on their own — even with strong bee activity — so cross-pollination is recommended for best results.
The flowers are particularly unique, displaying the classic white petals that softly fade into a delicate pink base.
Hana is also known for producing excellent pollen, making it a universal pollinator for many dragon fruit varieties.
Fruit features red skin with white flesh and comes from Hylocereus and the species monacanthus.
This variety was originally collected on the road to Hana, Maui, Hawaii, and later sourced from a Queensland grower.
