Jungle Jim Dragon Fruit

Jungle Jim Dragon Fruit – 5-Star Purple-Fleshed Variety

Jungle Jim is a standout dragon fruit that Rare Dragon Fruit confidently rates as a 5-star variety for flavour, texture, and visual appeal. This cultivar produces smaller, well-formed fruit with vibrant red skin and rich purple flesh, making it just as impressive on the plate as it is on the plant.

Our first fruit, harvested in April 2024, weighed a solid 400 g, proving that smaller-fruited varieties can still deliver excellent size and quality. This variety was sourced from a passionate Maryborough dragon fruit enthusiast and is believed to have been developed in North Queensland, well suited to warm, humid Australian conditions.

The plant produces a classic large white night-flowering bloom, adding ornamental value to its strong production traits.
