Thai Red Giant is a vigorous-growing plant showing strong potential as a commercial option. Producing attractive pink-skinned fruit with a skin thickness of approximately 5mm, it offers good structure and handling quality.
The flesh is a striking, vibrant magenta, making it visually stunning for fresh fruit platters, smoothie bowls, cocktails, desserts and natural food colouring.
Average fruit size sits around 500g -700g, offering a generous but manageable portion.
Currently undergoing pollination trials.
Self-pollinating status: Unknown (testing in progress).
Sourced from a NSW hobby grower and now being evaluated in Agnes Water conditions.

Brix tested at 15.2. 16.1but tasted sweeter
A smooth, pear-like texture with a refreshing flavour profile. Nicely balanced and juicy, rather than overly sweet — a clean, enjoyable eating fruit.
Care:
Plant into an excellent quality potting mix to a depth of 2-3 cm

Water once the soil has dried out.
