David Bowie Noid– Hylocereus undatus Dragon Fruit

Description:

David Bowie Dragon Fruit – Hylocereus undatus

New Variety 2023
First fruited January 2025

A must-have variety for any dragon fruit collection.

David Bowie is a unique variety from the genus Hylocereus and species undatus. One of its standout features is the large number of fins, giving the fruit a striking appearance compared to most dragon fruit varieties.

Originally expected to have white flesh, this variety surprised us by producing beautiful purple flesh, making it even more special.

The fruit has pinkish-red skin with vibrant green fins, creating a very attractive fruit.

Fruit size typically ranges 600–900g, although our first fruit weighed 426g.

This variety flowers early in the season and is self-fertile, making it a great addition to both home gardens and collectors.
