Arizona Purple Dragon Fruit

Arizona Purple is a true 5-star fruit, with colour so electric it almost glows in daylight. The flesh is intensely vibrant and deeply pigmented, making this variety a standout both on the plant and on the plate.

Very similar to Sugar dragon, Pink Panther, Neon and Aztec Gem. Good growth and disease residence with prolific fruit, flowers and pollen 

The fruit tends to form an egg-shaped appearance, adding to its distinctive look.

It has darker green growth and is quite tolerant of a wide range of weather and climate conditions. This also makes it quiet disease resistant.

• Self-pollinating: Yes (self-fertile)

• Flower: Large white flower

• Growth: Medium to fast-growing

  • Dark, meaty stems with rounded triangular cross-sections

• Skin thickness: Thin

• Flesh colour: Vibrant magenta

• Fruit size: Small to medium; approx. 110 g -250g

Taste Profile

• Very few seeds

• Seeds are small and crunchy

• Smooth flesh

• Sweet red grape sorbet flavour

• Extremely moreish

• Brix: 17.5 -19

Care: 

Plant into an excellent quality potting mix to a depth of 2-3 cm 

Your dragon fruit will be marked with an arrow, plant ^ Arrow point up to the sky.

Regular Fertilizer 

Water once the soil has dried out.

Once rooted transfer onto a post.
