Self Fertile and Self Sterile Dragon Fruit Varieties Listed

There are 2 different types of dragon fruit we talk about self fertile and self sterile.

I have gone written a more in-depth blog about these 2 types and pollination.

Self Fertile Dragon Fruit  - These dragon fruit varieties do not require hand pollination they are self fertile and can pollenate themselves with their own pollen.

Self Sterile  Dragon Fruit - These Dragon fruit varieties require x pollenating. They are unable to pollenate themselves with there own pollen or have a bad design where they are less likely to pollenate themselves.

Remember!! With out bee and pollinators even a self fertile dragon fruit can still drop its fruit.

To ensure fruit set we recommend all dragon fruit be x pollenated.
