Growing dragon fruit in Tura Beach, South New South Wales

Terry from Tura beach in South New South Wales he has contributed the following  information. He got his 1st plant around 3 years old, and it flowered for the 1st time this year it currently has 4 fruit on it, most of the others I got last year and some this year.
Tara beach does get frost, but he has a microclimate that has never had frost. The northern part of our yard. They do get frost on the southern part of the yard, and this is the part where I am testing growing dragon fruit.
Terry has some dragon fruit in the ground beside a fence to see how they go.  He will be building a frame for this year as at the moment they have attached themselves to the fence.
Terrys doesn't water them directly as I spray water onto the fence and let it run down the palings,
He I also have a very large pot at  with 3 dragon fruit plants in it.( photo below)
Thank you for sharing you dragon fruit growing experience it is interesting how Terry has 2 different climates in 1 yard.
