Dragon Fruit Purée Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe dragon fruits (red, pink, or white flesh)

  • 1–2 teaspoons lime or lemon juice (optional, to brighten flavor)

  • 1–2 teaspoons honey, agave, or maple syrup (optional, for added sweetness)


Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Fruit:
    Cut the dragon fruit in half and scoop out the flesh with a spoon. Discard the skins (or compost them!).

  2. Blend:
    Place the dragon fruit flesh into a blender or food processor. Add lemon or lime juice and sweetener if desired.

  3. Purée:
    Blend until smooth. You can strain it through a fine sieve for an extra smooth finish, especially if you're using it in sauces or drinks.

  4. Store or Freeze:
    Use immediately or pour into ice cube trays and freeze for later use.
