Ozzie Gold – Hylocereus undatus

Description

A high-quality dragon fruit known for producing very large fruit up to 1.5 kg.

• Yellow skin with green fins

• White flesh

• Thornless fruit

• Pollination:
  Self-sterile , though it performs best with cross-pollination.

• We recommend growing a large Hylocereus undatus variety nearby to improve fruit set and size, such as Commercial White, Hollywood White King, Alice, or Coffs NOID.

Taste

Sweet flavour similar to lychee.

Golden Dragon – Hylocereus undatus × Hybrid

Description

Golden Dragon produces medium to large fruit with striking golden skin.

• Gold skin with green fins

• White flesh

• Requires cross-pollination  We recommend growing a large Hylocereus undatus variety nearby to improve fruit set and size, such as Commercial White, Hollywood White King, Alice, or Coffs NOID.

• Fruits in late summer

Sweet fruit with an apple-like flavour.

Yellow Megalanthus – Selenicereus megalanthus (Colombia)

Description

A distinctive yellow dragon fruit species producing excellent quality fruit.

• Large white flowers

• Slower-growing variety

• Yellow skin with white flesh

• Fruit covered with small spines that are easily brushed away before picking

Beautifully sweet fruit and one of our favourites.

Care

• Plant cuttings 2–3 cm deep into a high-quality potting mix

• Each cutting will be marked with an arrow — plant with the arrow pointing up toward the sky

• Water once the soil has dried out

• Apply regular fertiliser during the growing season

• Once rooted and established, train the plant onto a post or trellis
