Peruvian Apple Cactus- Cereus repandus- Hedge cactus, Queen of the night

Peruvian Apple Cactus (Cereus repandus) is a large, erect, thorny columnar cactus.

Fruits and stems of Cereus repandus are edible.

Look great in a pot or amongst other cacti.

Can grow to 10m

The goose-egg-size fruits contain a delicately sweet white pulp with delightfully crunchy black seeds.

Care: 

Grow best in lots of light,

Likes good drainage and low moisture

Warmer temperatures 

Use a good cactus potting mix or add extra sand when planting into the ground.
