Hawaiian Dwarf is a compact, thin-stemmed dragon fruit variety prized for its intense sweetness and vibrant colour. Producing small fruit typically ranging from 100–200 g, this variety is perfect for collectors, small gardens, pots, or anyone wanting exceptional flavour in a smaller package.
The fruit features orange skin with striking pink-purple flesh and a thin rind, making it highly enjoyable to eat fresh. Hawaiian Dwarf is closely related to Purple Megalanthus, Dwarf Orange, and Red Megalanthus, with subtle differences that set it apart. It also shows some variation compared to Frankie’s Red, particularly in growth habit and fruit characteristics.
Despite its modest size, this variety delivers outstanding eating quality, consistently recording very high sugar levels.
