New to our collection in 2022, this variety first flowered for us in December 2024, with fruit harvested in January 2025.
Michelle comes from the genus Hylocereus (exact species unknown). In our orchard, this plant has shown fast, vigorous growth — so much so that this particular post ended up taller than normal! A strong climber that establishes quickly under SEQ conditions.
The fruit features red skin with green-tipped fins, creating a classic dragon fruit appearance. Fruit size ranges between 250–400g, making it a neat, manageable size for home growers and markets alike.
Self-pollinating: No — requires cross pollination for reliable fruit set.
