Seedlings are a great option they are Harder than marcotted lychee, Seedling has deeper roots and is stronger in the ground.

Seedlings are a much better choice in high wind areas and bordering climates. 

Lychee seeds must be planted within four to five days to increase the chance of germination- this is why you should not buy seeds

Lychees are slow to grow and need time to mature to size. 

Being a seedling they will take longer to come into fruiting.  

Fruiting months are January, February, March, April

Once they have reached 2-3m try cincturing (ring barking to bring on fruit) to bring them into earlier fruiting.

2-5m, +10m in ideal conditions

Lychees are amazing a sweet floral fruit with a similar texture to a grape. 

Eat fresh or use fresh in salads, cocktails and juices.
