Our Japanese Quail (Coturnix japonica) fertile eggs are collected from our home flock and carefully selected for incubation.

Japanese quail are fantastic little birds for backyard keepers and families. They are small, fast-growing and fascinating to hatch and raise.

Hatching

Japanese quail have a wonderfully short incubation period, generally hatching at around 17–18 days under appropriate incubation conditions.

Important information

Fertility and hatch rates cannot be guaranteed. Hatch success can be affected by egg handling, transport, incubator temperature and humidity, turning, and individual incubation conditions.

Fertile eggs are sold for hatching purposes.
