Ginger - Myoga Zingiber mioga

 Description:

This is a deciduous herbaceous perennial native to Japan, China, and the southern part of Korea.

It is happiest in rich, moist well-drained soil.

It can be grown in a wide range of climates from Tasmania to Queensland.

Looks great in a pot.

Taste:
Only its edible flower buds and flavorful shoots are used in cooking. I like the flowers fresh in salads or poke bowls. They taste similar to pickled ginger but with a fresh crunch.

Care:

Moderate Watering with good drainage, too much water will cause rot.

Part sun and shade (Sun:50-80%)

Likes PH-neutral soil (6.6-7.3pH)

Plant Sizes: 70 mm Super Tube, the foliage will be trimmed for post

This is a deciduous plant, so in winter, please be aware you will only receive the rhizome.
