The leaves are added to the curry, soups, pastes and rice to give a zesty lime flavour. The fruit has a thick bumpy rind. I like to infuse vinegar with the zest to make a lime surface spray.
Fast growing. Prefers a warm – frost-free climate. Likes 80% - 100% sun Good drainage and regular water. Regular fertilizer
