Taiwan Honey Red is a standout dragon fruit variety prized for its bold colour, refined sweetness, and exceptional eating quality.

The fruit features a striking red-magenta skin paired with deep pink to red flesh, making it as visually impressive as it is delicious. Our first fruit weighed approximately 400 g, placing it firmly in the medium–large category.

Taiwan honey red has a rounder shaped fruit.

The flower is white 

Flavour Profile

With a Brix of 20, this variety delivers a beautifully supple sweetness. The flavour opens with gentle honeydew melon notes, then finishes with a long-lingering, delicate honey sweetness that stays on the palate.

Seeds are quite sparse, making this an excellent choice for those who prefer a smoother texture and don’t enjoy the pronounced crunch found in some other dragon fruit varieties.
