White King is a vigorous Vietnamese white dragon fruit variety from the species Hylocereus undatus. It is self-fertile and self-pollinating, making it an easy and reliable plant for home growers.

This variety was sourced from a commercial Brisbane dragon fruit grower.
Like many white dragon fruit varieties grown in humid climates, the plant can experience rust spotting depending on the season, though this rarely affects production.

“Picked some Vietnamese White King a couple of days ago. Tried one today. It was 550 g with a Brix of 18. Sweet to the taste and better than supermarket whites, though still fairly mild in flavour. The flesh was firm and not very juicy, which was a surprise.”
