A low growing perennial leaf vegetable,
Grows in a neat mound to 30 cm high
Makes a great edging path and green mulch for under trees.
It is suitable for subtropical and tropical areas, no further than Sydney.

Very similar to standard spinach.
Use it steamed or stir-fried rather than in salads, contains high oxalic acid
