Similar to a Papaya, Babaco is less sensitive to the cold and can be grown in southern states.
The fruit has no seeds. So must be grown from cuttings.

Taste:

Champagne fruit has a bubbly texture the flavour is slightly acidic similar to pineapple, and papaya flavour.
The fruit makes a refreshing drink when juiced.

Care Instructions:

Needs good drainage, these trees suffer can easily suffer from root rot. So add perlite or sand to your soil.
