This plant is also a popular indoor plant for it unique shape and leaf design. It has a beautiful trunk and is in the baobab family so can be very rounded or shapely at the base
This tree can even be platted, if you get 3 trees you can entwine them for an attractive feature.
Its seeds that are harvested in Feb- April are able to be eaten fresh or roasted and ground as flour.
The young leaves are cooked as a vegetable and the flowers are also cooked.
