FLAT RATE SHIPPING - QUEENSLAND OWNED FAMILY BUSINESS

Description:
A striking Hylocereus costaricensis hybrid, first planted in 2023, with more information to come as it establishes. Cuttings and plants will be available in 2025.
Also known as Costarica Pitaya, this variety is one of the long-time favourites of Spicy Exotics due to its rich colour, strong flavour profile, and reliable performance.
The fruit features red skin with deep red flesh and the plant is self-sterile, requiring cross-pollination for best results.
This species is native to Central America and northwestern South America, known for its heat tolerance, colour intensity, and high antioxidant content.
In early 2025, before fruiting season, we relocated this plant into a pot because its original position received more water than ideal.
The new potting setup has significantly improved drainage and soil structure, and the plant is now recovering with healthier, more balanced growth.
