Godzilla Dragon Fruit

Godzilla Dragon Fruit – Japanese Variety

Description:
Godzilla is a striking dragon fruit variety that originated in Japan and is known for its robust growth and large fruit size. The plant produces thick, strong branches with a green-grey colouring. This greyish coating is a natural waxy layer that helps protect the plant from intense sunlight, acting like a natural sunscreen that reduces the risk of sunburn in harsh conditions.

Godzilla is not self-pollinating and requires cross-pollination to produce fruit. The plant produces large white flowers, typically beginning to flower from November onwards.

The fruit is generally rounder in shape, with pink to red skin and green-tipped fins. It produces attractive pink flesh and can grow to around 550 g, making it a good-sized fruit for both home growers and collectors.
