Red Jade – Dragon Fruit
Description:
Red Jade is a visually striking variety featuring a spectacular pink flower and fruit with purple flesh, red skin, and green fins.
It is self-sterile and requires cross-pollination for reliable fruit set.
A fast-growing plant, Red Jade is often one of the earliest varieties to flower each season. However, it can occasionally suffer rust, which may progress to rot if not managed early.
From our experience during the 2024/2025 season, the best early-season pollen sources were Neon and Dwarf Orange — both of which flowered before Red Jade and provided excellent cross-pollination.
