Cebra is a Nicaraguan dragon fruit variety known for producing large fragrant flowers and firm, high-quality fruit.

  • Flower: Large, fragrant white flower with red-edged calyx

  • Fruit shape: Round

  • Days from bloom to harvest: Approximately 46 days

  • Skin colour: Red with green fins

  • Flesh colour: Red

  • Average fruit weight: Around 460 g (our first fruit weighed 379 g)

  • Skin thickness: Up to 8 mm

The areoles contain 3–6 spines in a random pattern.

Cebra has shown good tolerance to both heat and cooler conditions. In University of California trials it demonstrated moderate cold resilience, receiving a 3.5 out of 5 cold-hardiness rating.
