Scott’s Purple is a striking Australian-bred purple-fleshed hybrid developed in Southeast Queensland.
A very hardy, disease-resistant variety that performs exceptionally well in full summer sun, making it well suited to SEQ growing conditions. Strong and reliable, this plant produces attractive pink skin with green fins and rich dark red-purple flesh.
Fruit size ranges up to 600g, sitting comfortably in the medium to large category — ideal for home gardeners wanting both flavour and visual impact.

Brix consistently tests between 19–21, placing this variety in the premium sweetness range.
