Pitahaya Amarilla - Hylocereus megalanthus

Hylocereus megalanthus, also known as Golden Dragon Fruit, Yellow Pitaya, and Pitahaya Amarilla, is the sweetest of all dragon fruit varieties.

This climbing succulent thrives in full sun to light shade, growing up a trellis and producing stunning white blossoms from mid-Spring through early Summer.

Note: This plant is suspected to be Yellow Megalanthus. We will continue to grow and monitor it to confirm any differences.

Pitahaya Amarilla is renowned as the sweetest dragon fruit variety — a true treat for the palate.

Care Instructions

• Plant into a high-quality potting mix to a depth of 2–3 cm.
• Your cutting will be marked with an arrow — plant with the arrow (^) pointing up toward the sky.
• Fertilise regularly.
• Water once the soil has dried out.
• Once rooted, transfer onto a post or trellis.

All orders are sent on Mondays via Australia Post Express. If Monday falls on a public holiday, orders will be dispatched the following Tuesday or Monday depending on the destination. We aim to deliver healthy, happy plants!
