La Verne Red (Red Laverne) – Dragon Fruit

Description:
A stunning hybrid variety, also known as Red Laverne, originating from the Hylocereus guatemalensis line crossed with an unknown species. First buds appeared in December 2024 from a plant established in 2022.
This variety produces long green fins, vibrant red skin, and bright purple flesh, making it visually striking and highly desirable.

It features a white flower and is self-sterile, requiring cross-pollination for reliable fruit set.

Taste:
Delicious melon–grape–tropical berry notes with a refreshing aftertaste similar to Condor.
Juicy, no acidity, and full of layered, complex flavours.
Crunchy small seeds and excellent eating quality — truly a 5-star fruit.
Like many La Verne types, flavour continues to improve as the plant ages.

Care: 

Plant into an excellent quality potting mix to a depth of 2-3 cm 

Your dragon fruit will be marked with an arrow, plant ^ Arrow points up to the sky.

Regular Fertilizer 

Water once the soil has dried out.

Once rooted transfer onto a post.
