Our Japanese Quail (Coturnix japonica) fertile eggs are collected from our home flock and carefully selected for incubation.

Japanese quail are fantastic little birds for backyard keepers and families. They are small, fast-growing and fascinating to hatch and raise.

Hatching

Japanese quail have a wonderfully short incubation period, generally hatching at around 17–18 days under appropriate incubation conditions.

Important information

Fertility and hatch rates cannot be guaranteed. Hatch success can be affected by egg handling, transport, incubator temperature and humidity, turning, and individual incubation conditions.

Fertile eggs are sold for hatching purposes.

Please check your local council and biosecurity requirements before purchasing or keeping quail in your area.

Shipping

These May take up to 10 days to post as we collect eggs fresh.

All items are posted on a Monday via Express Post with Australia Post. If Monday is a public holiday, they will be sent the following Tuesday or Monday depending on the destination. We aim to deliver fresh, carefully packed eggs to your door. 🥚

Our Posting Day

All orders are posted on Mondays via Australia Post and include tracking.

The only times this may change are when:

• Monday falls on a public holiday; or
• Circumstances outside of our control prevent us from posting as scheduled.

Where an order contains both time-sensitive and non-essential products, we will select the most appropriate postage option to ensure your order arrives safely while keeping shipping costs as affordable as possible.

Once your parcel has been lodged with Australia Post, you will be able to follow its progress using the tracking information provided.
