CFA Purple Dawn is a strong commercial-performing dragon fruit variety that produces large, sweet fruit weighing up to 850 g.
This variety is self-pollinating, making it a reliable choice for both home gardeners and commercial growers.
The flower is medium-sized and predominantly white, with soft pink and yellow tones through the inner segments. While it can appear similar to CFA Purple Heart from a distance, the internal flower colouring is noticeably different on closer inspection.
A productive and visually appealing plant that performs well in South East Queensland conditions.
Brix testing at 20, placing this variety firmly in the premium sweetness category.
Expect a rich, sweet flavour with smooth, enjoyable flesh — a crowd-pleasing fruit with strong commercial appeal.
Care:
Plant into an excellent quality potting mix to a depth of 2-3 cm
